On December 12, at 12 noon Beijing time, the four session of New Perspectives on the History of British Science from the 17th to the 19th Centuries was held online as scheduled.
The theme is Gardens as Scientific Sites in the Early Modern Period. The first speaker is Vera Kelle, whose speech title is : “Garden Philosophy”: The early 17th-century. The next speaker is JIANG Che, whose report title named Charting Plants: Robert Morison’s Practice of Visualising Botanical Classification. The meeting was hosted by Professor Bernard Lightman.
