Abstract: Since the 1930s, Jiang Changying had been engaged in aviation history research and aviation education for more than 70 years. He authored the first monograph, Chinese Aviation History, was the first to offer the “Chinese Aviation History” course nationwide, founded China’s first aviation history research journal, and established China’s first aviation history research association. He has made outstanding contributions to China’s aviation history research and talent cultivation in the aviation industry, and is known as the founder of Chinese aviation history research.
