On March 29, 2015, the third meeting of the third Editorial Board of the Journal of Dialectics of Nature was held at Beijing Friendship Hotel. The meeting was attended by 21 Editorial Board members from around the country and hosted by Fan Dainian, Director of the Editorial Board.

Professor Hu Zhiqiang, Chief Editor of the Journal, made a report on the work of the Editorial Office. In 2014, according to requirements of the last meeting of the Editorial Board, the Editorial Office explored the system of features, deliberated on innovative development and successively took a series of reform measures. The measures included: actively preparing for comprehensive implementation of the system of features in 2015; adding two sheets, increasing the number of articles published and shortening the cycle of contribution publication; adjusting format design and cover design; strengthening website construction and launching new website and new domain name; publishing the book Scientific Elite: The People Solving the Sphinx’s Riddle, a collection of articles from the column Character Biography; and holding the “Scientific System Reform: Looking Back from 30 Years Later” Symposium.

The Editorial Board members highly recognized the achievements of the Editorial Office in 2014 and proposed precious suggestions and opinions for the Editorial Office’s work in 2015 and following years. Several Editorial Board members proposed to undertake the task of feature planning to support the journal’s development with action.
