Through the analyses of Needham’s ideas of history of science and his historical research on science，it is revealed that the content of "Needham’s Puzzle"is the following three questions:1.What caused the transcurrence of Chinese science in some certain periods?2. What caused the fusion of modern science with Chinese traditional science ?And 3.What delayed the fusion ?Needham focused on the 1st and 3rd questions，but gave little attention on the 2nd ones. To resolve the 2nd question is the task left by Needham.

Ehrenfest was a great physicist of the 20th century.
