The writer was working hard on this book ,the point of view of treatise is quite new ,and the theme is also significant. But there is ,however ,a problem on basic method. When the writer applies doctor Jaki’s theory on the literature of Zhang Heng ,he neglects such a fact :there were many other similar literature at that period besides Zhang Heng’s ,such as literature of Ban Gu ,Zuo Si and so on. Therefore ,the theoretical construction of this book can't experience the deduction and consequence:if we apply Jaki’s theory on Ban Gu ,Zuo Si’s work，won’t we draw the conclusion that they were also great scientists?
